The story of Roger&Gallet begins in Italy, in the footsteps of a young Italian, Giovanni Paolo Feminis, who in 1693 invented a miraculous water, Acqua Mirabilis, a medicine based on 18 medicinal plants grown in a monastery in Florence, the " "Giardino dei Semplici".
